Central Newfoundland Outfitters are fortunate to have the Gander International Airport within one hours drive of the lodge at Great Rattling Brook. Due to Airline schedules it is best to arrive on Saturday and over–night at one of the hotels below.

Pick–up at your hotel is at 1:00PM.

    • By Motor Vehicle:

    When driving to Newfoundland you will need to drive to North Sydney, Nova Scotia and catch the ferry to Port aux Basques, NL. Once on the island you will drive East on Route 1 for five plus hours till you reach Bishop's Falls and cross the famous Exploits River; once you cross the river Route 360 – Bay d'Espoir Highway – will be on your right. Travel South on Route 360 for 10.6 km and on your right you will see our signage and the road to the lodge.
